Incomplete Works – S.P. Bienal
SUPERSUDACA / X BIENAL SAO PAULO / SESC POMPEIA / 2013
www.supersudaca.org
X Bienal Sao Paulo invited Supersudaca to mount an exhibition in SESC POMPEIA, develope a project, a workshop with the community in BIXIGA, and be part of a debate cycle.
Incomplete Works is the exhibition and the project at the same time.
At the occasion of Supersudaca’s 10 th anniversary the idea arose to publish a book on Supersudaca’s “Incomplete Works”, an idea that has been presented and exhibited at the Xth architecture biennale of Sao Paolo.
In order to be able to work, we used our “Exhibition Area” in the Biennale as our “Workspace”, so our exhibition was being mounted and getting completed as we worked, and our work was the performance.
The design of how we used space and displayed material in this exhibition/performance is in the same time the structure of the book.
